This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting an abstract for AFRICA 2017 is 31 May. The Call for Papers brochure, which contains details about the themes, and guidelines, can be downloaded from our website (then click on “Brochure PDF” at the bottom of the page). We recommend that you download the brochure to your computer before printing it.

Please note: an abstract should only be submitted if you will be able to attend the conference (or send a representative) to present your paper. Please send your abstract in Word, in English or French, using the main author’s name in the filename; and make sure to include a brief CV for each author and full contact details of the main author (and proposed presenter, if different). Please tell us the current status or completion date of any project described in your abstract.

Africa has some of the world’s largest rivers, and vast potential for future water resources development. It is the continent with arguably the most urgent need for accelerated development: to unlock the potential of the region, to alleviate poverty and allow for socio-economic development.

If you are involved in helping to advance hydro or water resources schemes in Africa as a planner, researcher, owner, operator, consultant, contractor or supplier, then we hope that you and others from your organization will plan to join us at AFRICA 2017 in Marrakech as a speaker, panellist, exhibitor or delegate. The Aqua-Media team looks forward to welcoming you. We would be grateful if you would also help inform any of your colleagues or associates whom you think might be interested in participating at AFRICA 2017.

With kind regards The AFRICA 2017 Conference Team
