HYDRO 2020 – Strategies for future progress

Aqua~Media International is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for HYDRO 2020, and the launch of the HYDRO 2020 dedicated site, where you can find the latest information about the event.

HYDRO 2020 will be held in Strasbourg, France at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès, from 26-28 October 2020. This picturesque city, in the Grand Est region of France, is on the Rhine river – one of Europe’s major ‘hydropower rivers’ – close to Germany and Switzerland.

The main theme is Strategies for future progress; and a list of conference topics is given in the brochure and website. You are welcome to submit an abstract on any of these, or a related topic.

As usual, several workshops and meetings for the conference speakers and chairpersons will be held before, on Sunday 25 October. Post-conference study tours, visiting several hydro plants, will take place after the conference and exhibition end.

HYDRO 2020 will bring together delegates from around the world from about 75 countries, to focus on the impact of hydropower worldwide and optimizing its ongoing contribution to progress and development.

To submit an abstract, please follow the instructions given in the Call for Papers; the deadline is 14 February 2020. An abstract should only be submitted if the author (or a representative) will be able to come to Strasbourg and present the full paper at HYDRO 2020.
