INVITATION FROM PRESIDENT OF IRCOLD AND CHAIRMAN OF LTBD 2017
As the President of Iranian Committee on Large Dams (IRCOLD), I am so delighted to welcome all participants of the 4th International Conference on Long-Term Behaviour and Environmentally Friendly Rehabilitation Technologies of Dams (LTBD 2017) which is scheduled to be held from 17 to 19 October, 2017 at IRIB International Conference Centre in Tehran, IRAN. This is an excellent opportunity for Iran to host this international scientific event and we are happy to have distinguished scientists, engineers and other professionals involving in the dam industry in Tehran.
Conference will start with pre-study tours and technical sessions and will be followed by workshops and post-study tours. The workshops will provide an international forum for the academicians from universities and institutes and practicing engineers from private and public firms to present and discuss their up-to-date reviews of recent accomplishments and the future trends in the field of dam engineering.
I believe that LTBD 2017 international conference will have an impact on the development of dam engineering, and will provide a forum for sharing knowledge, experiences, innovative ideas, and research results and will also foster the collaboration amongst the participants.
Besides the technical program of the conference, we hope you will enjoy the social and cultural events in Tehran including the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and City Tours.
